48′ Classic Baybuilt Deadrise Completes First Charter on Cape Hatteras

The newest addition to the Hatteras Sailing Charter Fleet, ‘Reel Perserverance’ makes ideal platform for family of visitors to celebrate a birthday to remember.

A lively crew of Hatteras Island visitors celebrate a birthday to remember aboard Hatteras Deadrise Charters ‘Reel Perserverance’. Family relaxes, snacks, laughs, sightsees, and sips while aboard the newest addition to the Hatteras Sailing Charter Fleet.

The Hatteras Deadrise Charter Boat is a 48′ Baybuilt Deltaville Deadrise. She is a very well preserved example of the elegant sloped lines of the deck, wide gunnels for walking and working crab pots, and the characteristic large, open back deck of the enduring deadrise bay boat design that originated out of the Chesapeake, Pamlico, and Albemarle sounds of the mid-atlantic region of the United States in the early twentieth century.

Hatteras Deadrise plans to offer a variety of trips unique to the area

Hatteras Deadrise is a unique boat designed for cruising the sounds and shallow ocean areas near Cape Hatteras. She features a large and cozy pilothouse with below deck head and sleeping quarters, which allow for longer adventures and off season boating trips, in the protection of the cozy heated indoor pilothouse.

Hatteras Deadrise plans to offer a variety of trips unique to the Outer Banks area. Each of the trips is designed to pay homage to the historic roots and unique experiences available only from Cape Hatteras on the Outer Banks of North Carolina amongst the sandbars of Diamond Shoals and Cape Lookout National Seashore.
